Community Empowerment

Community Empowerment – Inspiring Action, Accountability, and Collective Change

True progress begins at the community level. The Moniba Foundation’s community empowerment programs bring people together through service, advocacy, and compassion. Our monthly clean-up campaigns unite volunteers to create cleaner, safer, and healthier environments across Liberia — fostering community pride and shared responsibility. Through advocacy and awareness initiatives, including Change Maker Monday, we confront issues such as education access, gender equality, domestic violence, and public health, encouraging citizens to speak up and drive change. Meanwhile, our annual Week of Giving mobilizes resources and volunteers to support orphanages, schools, women’s groups, and a range of community-based organizations and causes across the country, extending care to those most in need. Together, these initiatives strengthen community bonds, promote civic accountability, and build a culture of service that moves Liberia forward.
