The Moniba Foundation is a positive force for transformative change in Liberia, dedicated to building human capital and empowering communities.
We focus on education, youth leadership, women’s empowerment, and advocacy for social justice and wellbeing, providing individuals and communities tools and opportunities to thrive.

Helping Liberians Achieve Success

Youth Empowerment

We believe Liberia’s future rests in the hands of its young people. Through leadership training, we equip the next generation with the skills and confidence to lead with integrity. Our scholarships, including the Dr. Harry F. Moniba Excellence Award, reward academic achievement and open doors to opportunity. In addition, technical and vocational training prepares youth with practical skills to compete in today’s job market, empowering them to shape their future and contribute to national growth.

Women’s Empowerment

Liberia’s market women are the backbone of our economy. Through micro-loans, the Moniba Foundation provides women access to financial resources that sustain businesses, feed families, and educate children. By investing in women, we invest in stronger families, thriving communities, and a more equitable Liberia.

Community Empowerment

True progress begins at the community level. Our clean-up campaigns bring volunteers together each month to create cleaner, safer, and healthier environments for all. Through advocacy and awareness initiatives, we confront issues such as education access, gender equality, domestic violence, and public health. These efforts hold leaders accountable and inspire citizens to take responsibility for building a better Liberia.
