The Foundation supports organizations and people in a multitude of ways. Over the years, the Foundation has contributed to initiatives (both financial and in kind) in the heath, education, agricultural, athletic and business lending fields; as well as vocational and technical training for the youth. A large concentration of the Foundation has also consisted of direct community activities such as large-scale clean-up exercises and food drives. Although evolving in programming, The Foundation will continue to work with the Government of Liberia, partner nations, and NGO’s to ensure human capacity development at all levels of Liberia’s society.
Almost half of the funding utilized by the Moniba Foundation is provided by the Moniba Corporation which has operations in Liberia. This, however, is not sufficient to meet the operating and philanthropic activities of the Foundation – especially as we continue to expand our impact and reach. Consequently, we rely on contributions from individuals, organizations and friends of Liberia from all over the world who believe in our just cause of raising the human capacity of Liberians; which will inevitably raise the standard and quality of life for Liberian citizens.
Yes, we are very happy to bring on volunteers, especially as we ultimately rely on them to join our programming team in identifying new communities and interventions that can make a positive impact. Please email the Foundation for further information.
