Empowering women economically is only one part of our mission; empowering their voice and influence is equally vital. Through our Advocacy & Leadership Program, the Moniba Foundation helps women claim their rightful place as leaders and changemakers within their communities and across Liberia.
We run rights awareness campaigns through community forums and radio programs that educate women about property rights, inheritance laws, civic participation, and protection from gender-based violence. Our leadership and confidence-building workshops train women in public speaking, negotiation, and project management, equipping them to take on leadership roles in schools, local government, and business.
To sustain progress, we facilitate mentorship and role-model networks that connect young and emerging women leaders with experienced professionals who provide guidance and encouragement. We also host community dialogues that engage both men and women in honest conversations about equality, responsibility, and shared leadership, because transforming communities requires everyone’s participation.
Through advocacy, mentorship, and civic engagement, the Moniba Foundation is shaping a generation of women who speak up, stand tall, and lead boldly. When women lead, entire communities rise and with them, a stronger and more equitable Liberia.
